Default 04 Mazda 3 FULL air-ride suspension

I'm new to this forum and I was just wondering who else has a Mazda 3 with a full air-ride suspension a.k.a fully-bagged. I've had the front bagged for about a year now and about 2 months ago I bagged the back too and I was just wondering if anyone else has done this already.

You MUST post pics to be taken seriously about this.
To my knowledge, bagging a 3 is a first on these forums. It just ain't done.
My curiosity is piqued though.....?

I can go out and take pics on my camera phone, but other than that I don't have a working digital camera. As a matter of fact I will go take some pics right now and I will be back after uploading them. BRB.

Here's some pictures I took from my camera phone of my 3 fully bagged. I even took a picture of one of the front air bags with the fittings.

Here's a few more pictures, one with the car up and one with it slammed. Then a picture of the front end at Texas Heatwave custom car show 2007.

That is certainly different for all the Buick/Cadillac/Chevrolet/S-10 slammers that I know.
How does it drive/handle? Has it changed your mileage?

She drives really good actually, I live in Austin, Texasright now and I drive home to the Houston area every month or two and thats a 2 1/2 hour drive and she handles just fine. Austin is FULL of construction right now and has been for the past 2 years andthe roads are HORRIBLE so I had to bag my car because I had lower springs at first but it killed the bottom of my car and my bumper. The mileage hasnt changed much but I have gone through many front end suspension pieces during the process of making my car (CV Joints, Control Arms, Spindels, etc.) So noone else knows anyone in Texas or for that matter the U.S. with a bagged Mazda 3?

I would never bag a 3. I think that is tacky, ugly, and....

I threw up a LOT in my mouth....

You can think what you want, I've had people praise me for it and think I was a complete idiot, but all that matters to me is that I customized my car in a way that very few if ANY have and I did it myself. Oh and why did you throw up in your mouth alot??? P.S. Ive won car show trophies with my 3 so I know it's not tacky.

I know Austin.I/We live in the greater (just outside) the Austin area too, and I drive in the construction you speak of day in and day out. I'm TIRED of it, and the paint chips that go with it!!!

I agree. It's yours. You're paying the bills and the price (there are ALWAYS compromises,) so whatever you wanna do as long as it's OK w/you should be OK.
Most like what little I have done to mine too. Some don't. Too bad. But, you have to expect the opinions of those nah-sayers. If it bothers you, change it. If it doesn't... well don't be as bone-headed as our current President is but, don't change it. Basically, it's your vision, Man.
