So quite happily I got my first Mazda. A 2007 Mazda 3 Hatchback. Sadly, the previous owner (I got it from a wholesale auction) removed all the branding from the outside of the car so I have no idea which model I have.

I believe it may be the Grand Touring

Is there another way to know? The VIN doesn't seem to be helpful.

Moon Roof
Heated Leather Seats (Not Power)
Small Spoiler up at the roof line
Rain Sensing Wipers

HID headlights and LED tails would also be tell-tail signs, but it sounds like a GT to me.

As far as outside branding is concerned, you wouldn't have seen GT anywhere anyway.
The sides of the car may have had the 2.3L badges, and the rear trunk/hatch would have had Mazda3 on it, but really, that's it. Mazda doesn't advertise different trim levels on their cars.
