Default Turbo mazda2?

I’m driving a 2016 1.5 SE-L (75bhp) mazda2 petrol and wandering if anybody knows about where I could find performance parts and if a turbo would fit. I’ve checked the engine bay and there’s plenty of room but wandering if anyone knew or has tried it.

would be nice to really improve the performance but keep it looking standard so any tips or websites that’ll have any parts let me know!!

Highly unlikely you'll be able to successfully turbocharge the engine. Why? Your engine most likely has a 14:1 compression ratio, such engines are extremely poor candidates for forced induction without reconstructing the internals of the engine.

I had a feeling that would be the case. I mean for a standard car it’s pretty responsive and quick to get to speed but I’ve not come across another car of that spec that’s been modified so it would be good to have a stand out car yet saying that there must be a reason why nobody has modified it but if anyone can help with any tips to get a bit more power through it then that would be good!

The simple truth is Mazda engineered your car to be about as powerful as absolutely possible without impacting reliability or efficiency. The simple fact is, for what it would cost you to modify your car, it would cost you far less to sell it, put the proceeds toward something faster and then pay the difference out of your pocket. The other thing to consider is, no matter how powerful/quick your car is, there will ALWAYS be something more powerful and faster. The trick to the whole equation is to come to terms with what is "fast enough" for you, and then be happy.
