Hi there, I have a 2014 Mazda 2 Sport Colour 1.3 4dr petrol h/b. Can anyone confirm whether or not the temporary spare T115/70D14 88M is suitable for ALL 4 wheels? I've read that temp spares sometimes are only suitable for either front or back but not always both. Many thanks in anticipation.
The space saver wheel that you have mentioned, has various restrictions as it's only an emergency wheel.
The 2014 Mazda 2 users manual - see here - 2014 Mazda 2 user manual
So if you have a flat front tyre you need to put the spare on the rear, and the rear wheel on the front. Also, space saver tyre pressures are normally around 60psi. Which is normally written on the sidewall of the tyre. you are restricted to 80kmh (50mph), and because the rolling radius of the spare is likely to be slightly different to the original wheels, you may get an ABS fault warning, or continuing flat tyre warning. But having a "space saver" is still the best option for you rather than the carp sealant that they install nowadays!
