Default Starting issues

Hi All
I have a 2011 1.3 black edition that's started to mess about on start up. Basically if you have any throttle while cranking it wont start.
I know people will just say "don't use the throttle then" but I know there's something wrong and I'd like to get it sorted before it gets worse and stops all together.
I've checked crank sensor.
throttle position switch.
vacuum pipes. And no luck, although I have noticed a whirring/buzzing coming from the electrical part on the throttle body.
anyone had this or got any ideas?
Thanks in advance.

Im not sure about "a bit" of throttle but I know if your press the accelerator down fully while trying to start the car, it won't start. I'm sure its a safety feature. maybe it does that even if your only applying say 10% throttle too.

The obvious , if it does not start when you apply throttle you will get a DTC. Scan for codes, use a good quality scan tool connected to the OBDII connector. Nothing less!
