Default Poor fuel economy on 2009 Mazda 2 Ts2 1.3

Hi all

Recently over the last month we have been noticing a drop in fuel economy on our mazda 2 and im wondering if anyone else on here has experienced or heard of this?

I have checked all the obvious - Tyres, binding brakes, air filter condition, spark plugs/ ignition coils....

Beginning to think it could possibly be down to the lambda sensors....although the car has only covered 29K

Any advice would be appreciated.

Mike

A poor spray pattern from the injectors and carbon buildup on the valves more than likely. Add an injector cleaner with a decarbon into the gas tank. Techron works best if you can get it.
