Mazda 2 Capella 2006 - Engine Coolant
Hello,
I know very little about car engines and need help please.
I noticed a change in my engine noise (difficult to explain, but it is not the same noise as I am used to). I have checked all fluid levels and found that the engine coolant fluid (which is pink or could be violet) is below the minimum level. I realise that I must top up or change the fluid but do not know which fluid to buy - my handbook states that I should use a violet colour coolant which meets the mazda spec WSS-M97 B44-D.
So, I go online to try and find this spec, but have big problems. I can find a little information but it confuses me (not hard to do as I am 70).
Can somebody please tell me what I should use and where I can get it? Halfords would be ideal if I knew what to ask for.
Also, my car has done 32k miles - should I top the coolant up or get it flushed and replaced?
