Default Horn fuse/circuit causing voltage drop?

Hi,

Ive recently found that my Mazda 2 alternator is not properly charging. A quick check shows that it’s only around 12/13v not the 14.4v it should be. Alternator has been changed recently so I knew that was good.

It appeared to be something drawing a large amount of power a couple second after starting. After pulling the fuses one by one I located the issue to the horn fuse. Once this fuse was pulled the battery read at a constant 14.4v solid.

I have isolated the horn at both the horn itself and the steering wheel and this has not resolved the issue.

does anyone know what else is attached to the horn circuit that might be causing this issue?

video attached for reference

Does the horn still work?

It really helps that you give the vehicle information as if you would looking up a part on the internet ????? Like the year at least?

Looking generically over the year coverage of your Mazda's you could have a BCM issue?

Before you ask and if you are going to ask HOW-TO the best advise at this point is to surf the internet for the procedure. It is fairly simple but waaaaay to much for me to even type when the information is available to read.
