Default Engine mount question

Firstly, sorry if this has been covered, but i couldnt find anything.

Car: Mazda 2 DE, 2008, 1.3 75HP, RHD Manual, Petrol.

So it seems like my right hand side engine mount has failed (the hydro one) as it has excessive movement and if i accelerate hard in 1st gear, you can hear the engine rock (thud sound).

Question is, does anyone know if the mounts for the Ford fiesta/fusion are the same?.
They look the same from what i can see, aside from the top bracket which goes from the mount to the engine block which can be easily chnaged anyway.

Also the original mazda mount in my car has the "FoMoCo" brand stamped onto it.

The reasons are:

1. The Ford mounts are about £30 cheaper
2. The only way i can get a Mazda mount is either from the dealer which is very exspensive or the odd few that pop up on eby from time to time, usually located in austrailia or germany with mega postage rates.

Some ebay links for comparison of images.

"Mazda" Mount (I would buy this but its the last one and it wont be there when i get paid in a few weeks)

"Ford" Mount

thanks for looking.

For anybody interested, i went with a cheapo "Mazda" mount off ebay. It cost me £50 and i had to swap the top bracket over. Old mount was really bad, the new one seems indentical and looks well made and sturdy. Problem solved. I still reckon the ford ones are the same though.

Hi, I'm looking at a replacement top mount. I'd agree that the Ford part looks identical.

1000000% YES
MK6 model

BUT - the Ford aluminium part needs to go to bin and you HAVE to use your Mazda 2 aluminium bit.
Black part fits PERFECTLY - I done this last week - purchased Ford Fiesta part because HALF PRICE of Mazda 2
£30 from eBay

Fun Part - I had "shaking gearbox" because BOTTOM engine mount - when replaced - engine shake gone - THEN - last week replaced RIGHT (hydro) now whole engine feels more...... solid....... and.......... STILL I have noise when shifting gears - like two spanners hit each other - so....... LEFT mount is on its way this week.
My point and ADVISE is - replace ALL OF THEM! Not just one

Hi, I managed to find a new top mount on Ebay. I can still hear a knocking noise even though the old mount was worn. I've decided to leave it as is as a mechanic has had a look and can't find anything obvious at fault.
