2015 Mazda Demio
Hi. If someone could assist. I have a 2015 Mazda demio 1.5lt diesel which I recently purchased. The navigation commander **** when been used for the multimedia center has become erratic in that when scrolling it will sometimes not remain stable in one position and move back and forth by it self. very frustrating as it cannot be used properly. I thought that perhaps some liquid may have been accidently spilt on the commander possibly causing this problem but I was assured by the previous owner that this was not the case. Took it to my local car electrician who couldn't find any cause of the problem hence decided to replace with a second hand item from local car breakers. fitted this but the same problem continued. Are these commander ***** simply plug and play or do they perhaps need some sort of programming to work correctly or could the problem be elsewhere? any assistance/thoughts would be appreciated!
Your car infotainment might suffers from "mazda ghost touch" Google or Youtube those terms and compare to your issues, they are dozens of links in how to fix it or disable it.
BTW commander **** and switches uses LIN network not programming needed.

Hi all. just discovered that my screen is in fact touch. removed screen and opened it and disconnected the band connector for the touchscreen. To begin with neither touch was enabled nor was the commander wheel responding. did a hard re-boot by simultaneously pressing music-nav-vol buttons on the the wheel for about 15 seconds, system re-started a and now the command wheel works perfectly. Thanks!
