Default 2010 - Rear heatshield issue

Hi,

The heatshield on my 2010 Mazda 2 dropped down at the back onto the exhaust. (Side closest to the exhaust tip)
Had a look tonight and the bolts are a pain... Small and really rusted on. The bolt securing the rear of the bracket at the back of the box has entirely come out of the bodywork. Looks as though it's been hanging on it for a while and actually pulled the whole thing out bringing the whole heatshield off. Nervous about taken the other bolts off now.

Anyone else had any similar issues with their heatshield?

Mines entirely off at the moment. A new one should be ready to collect from Mazda tomorrow but given how much of a pain getting the old one off has been I might take the new heatshield to a garage to fit and see what they think now the back thread/bolt is missing.

Thanks,

Matt

ended up having to put a new bolt through from the boot. Seems like quite a common issues. The bolts just weld themselves on over the years and they arent secured very well into the bodywork
