Where to put a 7way trailer conn. w/ a factory tow pkg?
Wehave a 2005 Tribute with a factory installed tow package. It has a 4way flat and we need to install a 7way round for our trailer brake however, there is no roombecause of the undermount spare tire andbumper.
Did you drill through the bumper?That method was suggested. Another option was to fabricate a longer bracket, however it would then hang down past the tire with nothing to protect it from road hazards.
Any suggestions would be welcomed! Thanks.
