Default Where is the OBD-II Port?

I took my 2002 Mazda Tribute in to have the Engine light checked out but the guy couldn't find the OBD2 port. Anyone know where it's at?

It is up under the drivers footwell area. If they could not even find the location to plug into the OBD II plug are you sure you want them to be able to diagnose the problem? That is scary all by itself!!! Go to a local parts store and they should be able to retrieve the code that you have set and post back with what code is stored. Would be willing to bet that you come back with a P0401 or P0402. Both point to a problem with the DPFE sensor that may well be covered for an extended period by the manufacturer. Post back with what you find out about the code and do not go back to the idiots that do not even know where the OBD plug is. PLEASE.

Actually, the P0401 or P0402 and P0303 codes are very likely
