hi bulldog.
I have only just registered after finding this site because of a radio problem, it was very helpful and so I decided to register. I am a owner of Tribute GSI on a 52 plate. I am very happy with the car and also happy with this site for the knowledge.
best regards

spare wheel location.
Hi guys, I am the proud owner of a 6, a xedos 9 miller cycle, and am now looking at buying a tribute.
As the tribute is petrol, I am considering having it converted to run on LPG. The location of the tank will be determined on where the spare wheel is located.
If its in a conventional wheel well, then a doughnut tank can be fitted, if not it will require a more expensive installation.
I will also need to know if the intake plenum is made of aluminium or plastic.
If anyone can help with the above questions, I'd greatly appreciate it.
Ps, I had my 2004 Mazda 6 (1.8) converted to LPG last year, and I am getting 60mpg.
It sure makes a great difference, as I travel about 100 miles a day for work.
Thanks for reading.
