Default Tribute trans-no reverse, M1 or M2

Hi all-

The car in questions is a 2003 Mazda Tribute with a CD4E transmission. Its got 220,000 miles on it, first trans went at 60k & was rebuilt by a shop. It failed around 130k at which point I rebuilt it myself. Car has been driving fine, I went to back out of my driveway the other day & I had no reverse gear. I've got it up on jacks right now to try & diagnose whats wrong. Here is what works & doesn't:

there are no OBD codes, pending or otherwise.

oil looked great when I pulled it, like really good. Nothing on the magnetic plug, but there is another magnet inside, near the filter.
Not hearing any rattling, or really anything. It even feels like its shifting into gear, just nothing at the wheels in anything but N & D

p- fine
n-forward gear - probably 1st
D1 - works fine
D2-4 - untested as of now, but were working fine prior to yesterday.
m1 - no drive
m2 - no drive

All the linkage seems to be ok--when I put it in a gear, the computer sees that & I can read that on my OBD scanner. so I think thats fine

I ran idle pressure tests and got:
p: 80
r: 76
n: 78
d: 48
m2: 48
m1: 48

referencing the attached pressure chart, you can see that P, R, & N are all on the high side, while D, M1 & M2 are all on the low side. Is this cause for concern? or would these numbers be WAY out of range to indicate a problem?

I've got some crude theories, but I think I'll wait & see what ya'll have to say.

Thanks for reading!
