Do the outside door handles on anyone elses tribute seem to be "difficult" to open? It seems like they should pull open and open the door more smoothly. Is there anyway to correct this? Or is it just the way that the handles are made?

Mine are difficult to pull open too. I think that is just the way they are. I have noticed that the handles are harder to pull open now than a couple of years ago. I guess parts are starting to wear.
