Default Trade-in value of 2003 Tribute

I'd appreciate some advice on what price to expect when I trade my2003 Tribute ES V6 AWD, metallic green with gray leather, spoiler and alarm system, 60,400 miles for another brand of vehicle. Average price on the trade-in value web sites (edmunds, nada, kbb) is low $9K in good condition and upper $9K into low $10K in excellent condition. Mine's closer to excellent. Three dealers have offered me $8500-$8700. This seems low to me. I don't want the hassle and don't have the time to sell it privately. What do you think? Thanks.

Trade-in value is always low unfortunately. Try placing an ad in craigslist for a couple of weeks. It's free and I've had pretty good luck with it.

Where are you located?

I paid $12,000 for my 2003 1.5 years ago with 64,000 miles on it. The price seemed reasonable to me.
