My auto stick, which is on the steering column, can be sometimes hard to get out of park. Other gears are ok. Thanks.

 

Common problem, you need tò replace the shifter assembly.

 

Thanks grim_reaper. I replaced the alternator as voltage was fluctuating and it seems to have sorted the stuck in park thing. Lights flickering was another problem. Transmission was acting out as well. Was jumping over a volt at idle. A car i had prior had a similar alt problem and she acted in the same way. Fingers crossed
