Default Problem with COPs on 2005 Tribute 3.0

My 2005 Tribute developed a miss the other day. To be brief, I chased it down to a bad coil on cyl #4. I checked 5 & 6, and both were firing. I swapped to coil from #4 to #5 and it was not firing. However, when I swapped both the #5 and #6 (working coils) to the #4 cyl, neither of them would fire. I put them back in their respective places and they fire OK.

So I know that the #4 coil does not work, and there is also some type of problem with the wiring leading to #4. Has anyone experienced this before?

I found a FSM with a Wiring diagram that I purchased and is on the way to me. I'm thinking that the tribute must have some type of ignition module or a device to send the signal to the coil to fire. Anyone have any thoughts on that?

I have confirmed that the #4 coil failed and then it damaged the PCM. So I'm looking for a used PCM. It is the same as used in the 06 Tribute and the 05-06 Escape. If anyone has any leads on a used one, I would appreciate the info.
