Default Pre Wired for power seats??

I just found a near perfect 05 Tribute S with 140k on the clock. The manual drivers seat is in poor condition though. I found a set of power, heated, leather seats at picknpull, and they are on sale this weekend for 30 bucks a seat. Will there be any additional wiring needed to get them working , or are they already wired in the car??? Is there wiring harnesses, in the donor car,I need to grab?

I finally got around to puting the leather, power, heated seats in, and yes, it is prewired for all the power options. Just plug and play.

Interesting, thanks for sharing and updating.

I'm assuming the switches to control the seats and heat are on the seats themselves? Because I don't see any controls on the dash (for models without them.)

Thumbs up

Everything is on the side of the seat. Great big square button for the heaters. lol cheap way to make a big upgrade.

Hi Rotten, this is exactly what I'm looking to do. Just bought a 2011 Tribute yesterday and it is the lower trim level with the cheapest "no lumbar, no electrics" seat. Any idea where I can find a cross reference to what year and seats are interchangeable. Surely some of the Ford Escape and Mercury Mariner seats will work. I think mine has air bags in the side of the front seats as well if that matters.

Thanks for your input.
