oil pan gasket leak?

2003 Mazda Oil Pan Leak - Me Too
Leaking from pan, appears almost as if the pan is "sweating", all bolts are tight, no leak from filter, oil covering all pan bolts.
Anyone replaced with the Gasket to replace the O-ring? If so, any tips on where to find on-line?
Thanks.

Synthetic oil does not produce as thick of a oil film as conventional oil does. The oil film does not only lubricate surfaces but also helps seal rubber gaskets and such. If you have always run conventional oil in the past and switched over to a synthetic, the thinner oil film may cause leaks. To fix this, drain the synthetic oil out and replace it with a conventional oil. It may take a couple oil change cycles to reseal everything but it will all be back to normal.

Redesigned oil pan
Anyone know where to buy the redesigned oild pan "Tony D" referred to for less money? My 2001 has had a small leak for a few years now, and most recently is seems to be leaking a little more. I am changing the oil pressure switch tomorrow, and I am hoping to find that it was the cause of the leak. The light is flickering at idle under 600 RPM's after the car has been driven for long enough for the olil to get hot (10 miles). I haven't checked it that well, but it looks like it is the pan gasket. I just hate to put the old style gasket on if it is just going to leak again. Does anyone know the new part number so I can do a online search. Or does any one know where we get get a better price????

Redesigned oil pan
Anyone know the part number for the redesigned oil pan? Or where it can be purchased for less? I am assuming that it will fit my 2001 Tribute too? I hate to put a new "old style design" gasket if it is just going to leak again.
