Default OEM Rear Bumper

Hi,
We had and incident and need to replace the rear bumper cover on our Tribute. Is there any web sites where I can get an OEM bumper cover. I called mazda and got quoted about $360. for the cover, also does anyone know the part number for this?
Thanks, Luc

www.onlinemazdaparts.com could supply you with an OEM bumper skin but it will still run you around $300 plus shipping.
Too many options on the bumper to get you an exact part number. 01-04 Trib all use same but changes for 05-06. 01-04 still has 9 different ones depending on color, production break, and if it has a hitch, looks to even have an unpainted option. PM or post with last 8 digits of your VIN number and should be able to pull up the exact part # if you want.

Default RE: OEM Rear Bumper

From VIN supplied in the PM, the parts computer comes up with a # ECY2-50-221-AA. Says it is painted already I am a bit doubtful as two different year Tribs with different colored bumpers came up with that same part # as well. Noticed also that your Tribute came with the optional bumper step plate. Does not come with the new bumper skin and replacement part #E112-V4-080F retails for an extra $95 so if it can be salvaged off of the old bumper will save you a few bucks if you still want one. Attaches with two sided foam tape so not too difficult to transer over.
Noticed also that you still have the Recall 2704L still open. This recall is just a throttle cable replace and should only take a 1/2 hour or so. Call Martin Mazda first and make sure they have the replacement recall cable #EC05-41-660F as it is an older recall started on 1/05 and they may not stock any longer.
