I have a 2002 tribute that I am putting back together, I had to buy a new key lock and immobilizer, went to lock smith, they erased all keys from pcm, said the new cut keys would work, (not) bought a silca sbb programmer to program new master keys, that did not work. can I get new keys made from a vin number with out dealing with a moron at the dealership.

I live up here in northern California, by redding and the only dealership in my area is chico, ca. and every time I ask for help or information, the answer is buy a book. so I am not a happy camper! I have a book and its vag for information. again I am sorry to refer to all dealership people as morons. I just need help, I live 60 miles from the nearest town. any way thanks for reading my post.
