Two days ago my 2003 Mazda tribute stopped pulling when I stopped at a red light . I had to have it towed home . put a code reader on it and it threw the code p1744 for the torque converter . but the thing is we reset the car by pulling the battery cables off for a few minutes and put them back on when I restarted my car it would engage all gears but after a few minutes it would just stop pulling again . Idk what it would be considering its still pulling but only for a few minutes after resetting . we changed the transmission fluid and apparently the previous owner never did! Could it be a computer problem or would I need a whole transmission?, also to add the ignition has a problem I have to turn it over (won't start) release then turn it over again and it will crank . we had to replace coil packs and radiator fans and the thermostat. Just hoping this will be a easy fix . any help will be appreciated thank you
