Hi everyone,

I own 2003 v6 Mazda tribute automatic.
I was driving it and all of a sudden it lost all power. I pulled over and turned the car off. I then tried to start it again it would just shake and die. I did this a few times and then left it for about 15 minutes tried to start the car again and the car would shake and when I put on the accelartor the car would die.
I had the care towed home and the oil and water were low so my partner topped it up and we tried to start it and still having the same issue!

Has anyone had this issue? or does anyone know what this could be?

I am stressing out! I am Mum and need my car for work getting around.

 

Could be a fully blocked fuel filter , no service light has come on? (the orange engine light) and if you have a code reader for any codes .

The fuel filter is underneath the vehicle near the tank , talking about the tank can you hear the fuel pump giving a quick whirrr when you turn on the ignition?

 

Thank you, I had the mechanics look at it today and it was a fuel issue.
