Default Large amount of coolant leaking from point near driveplate access cover underside eng

Hi guys.

I am hoping for some advice/opinions. My 2001 mazda tribute v6 auto started leaking nearly 2 litres every drive. Dripping from near the deiveplate access cover. I cant see where it is coming from though. I think im going to put a radiator atop leak in for now but i want to find cause if leak.

Any advice greatly appreciated. I have a video but cant upload mp4 so will try convert it.

Default video of dripping (tap running leak)

managed to covert the video and upload it. I know there are also oil leaking issues but I cant see where all this water is coming from before it ends up coming out down where it does. Just hoping for some thoughts as to what water plumbing is over the left side of the engine/ Thanks

Default I have a leak

I have an ‘05 Tribute V6 with a leak coming from the lower end of the water pump. The hose comes down around the motor mount then along the cylinder head to the oil filter mount. I have inquired on a Facebook group if I could plug the line from the pump and at the oil filter mount as the entire line seems unnecessary.

Did you get it fixed? The plumbing in there is a nightmare...so many hoses, plastic connectors and O-rings. The water pump exit port to the engine is plastic pipe epoxied into the aluminum pump; it cracks and leaks. The temp sensor is all plastic with a tiny little O-ring between you and 100% coolant loss. The plastic pipe that attaches to the engine, more O-rings. Terrible, will never own a Ford again.

This member ^^^^ joined in April 2024 posted 2 responses on a same thread subject and has not logged back since.
Member wanting to get in touch should try PMing the member because it is more likely they will receive a notification then via a thread they started or participated on.
The exception would be had the member select notify when a response was made on a specific thread.

My suggestion if members are curious about the resolve or having a similar issue to start their own thread and give details and questions about it.
There are never 2 vehicles alike having the same problems because of all the possible variables that could be in play.
