Ok so I get in my 02 tribute the other night and I turn on the lights and none of the dash lights turn on except the highbeam light, I tried turning highbeams on and off n indicator light was still on and lights didnt change because only fog lights were on, so I try turning the lights off n the parking lights n fog lights start pulsing or "strobing". Have checked fuses and relays. Also you hear whining sound when lights are on and going over bumps occationally all lights will come on for a second. Any ideas?????

A friend of mine had this type of problem with his 2000, range rover. After worrying that his ECU was knackered, his garage changed his battery and all was sorted.
