Would I be insane to buy a 2004 Mazda 3?
Hey Guys,
I'm a new member here and I just wanted to ask for some advice from you guys.
I've always loved Mazda 3's and they are so much fun to drive. My other car has just been declared dead and I'm on the hunt for a new(second-hand) car and have been searching for a Mazda 3.
I found one that was in a good price range of mine, but is a 2004. I know that it's not the newest Mazda, and has 180,000KM's on it . I found another one that has 102,000KM's.
Would it be a wise idea to avoid this one?
I'm still looking around at all the other possibilities, I just wanted to know in your opinions how long and if it would be a worthwhile investment.
Thanks Guys!
Dave

Hey Dave,
You and I are somewhat in the same boat.
Read my thread below "Wanted another 3"
I love the 2004-06 Mazda 3 hatchbacks.
The newer ones just don't say "excitement" to me.
Any way, are you looking at a hatchback, or sedan?
The hatchbacks are a little more money, but basically they are the same car.
If it were me, I would be looking for something with less miles than what you mentioned.
Repairs are going to happen regardless of what you buy, but getting one with less miles on it may put of repair bills for a year or so.
Bob.
