The real problem is that people read but don't reply. For instance the 'Problem filling gas' post had 271 hits but only one response. Forums only work when people participate.

What is this, dissension in the ranks?
You are focusing on one negative thing about one thread. Perhaps the question wasn't one that had a definitive answer? Perhaps the OP did not ask it in a way that anyone here understood?
What about all the answered threads and questions?
Both of you have 4 posts each here. Where were you? Why didn't either of you respond to these unanswered questions?
I think we have a great little site here, and that bigger is not necessarily better.
I mod on this site as well as a much bigger one, but prefer this one for it's tightness of members. It's core group is a good one, and if you were here long enough, or paid some attention to it, you would realize that too.

I tell you now, this thread is one post away from going away completely. This site and being a member of it, is a privilege like any other forum. You can add something positive or say nothing, but putting us all down when neither of you has anything to add is not right.

I added this post so i could get some responses to make sure people were still alive here. Not bashing the forum at all, I just wish there were more people on the tribute forum. I understand the tribute probably isnt the most popular car mazda has made so thats probably part ofthe reason but its like one of you said alot of people look but nobody responds. Glad to see there are some people that will respond. Thanks

PS. Sorry Virgin i was having a bad day when i said the site should be closed down..........I owe alot to these forums they have saved me time and money over the years with the different vehicles i have owned. Thank you for moderating and keeping it running etc.!!

I agree withVirgin1 andI am also guilty in reading the posts and not responding,
butI find a lot of answers on related posting from the past, it's just takes a little navigating to find the answers, but I tell you one thing it's great when someone responds to your question even if to let you know that they don't know the answer.
I hope that you get the answer to your question from someone.

I'm not sure that beginning a thread, not only w/that title but with that opening post is the way to see if others are alive.
Also, please keep in mind that @ this time of the year, students are getting ready for finals and thinking about summerbreaks, perhaps going home. Home owners have outside work to do that they may not have had during the cold months. There are sports and car shows, in short other activities so that people are not as tied to their computers as when the weather is in-climate.
Forum activity ebbs and wains during various times of the calender year.
And I agree that Tribute owners are not liable to be the biggest users of automotive based forums. That said, I've actually seen an increase in the Tribute section just recently.
I try to answer as many questions as I can, or at least acknowledge a members post, but I don't know everything about everything nor can I be everywhere all the time either. In spite of the rumors, Ido have a life outside of this box and these forums, though I am on here quite a bit.
I'm glad to have new members and a variety of different model owners on here, but I would ask members to be a little patient before spouting off. We do see your posts and your questions, but do not always have an answer or may not know how to answer. I often try to doresearch to answer questions I don't know the answers to, but that takes time, and I don't always have that kind of time. Please remember, life outside of the box does happen to all of us. I do this because I enjoy it and believe in it, not because I'm getting rich or even getting paid to do what I do here.
