door sensor malfunction
I have a 2006 Tribute and the door ajar light stays on.
I have narrowed it down to the front passenger side door. I think it could be a sensor, but im not sure where the door ajar sensor even is in the door. If anyone has encountered this problem and has any tips, it would be much appreciated

I advise using a spray contact cleaner like MG Chemicals Nu-Trol. It is not injurious to any insulating plastics, is a very effective anti-oxidant, and leaves an effective after film which keeps the contacts in good shape but does not accumulate dust. It or its equivalent is available from electrical/electronic specialty stores.
