My wifes check engine light has just came on and she had it scanned this morning and it was code P0128 coolant thermostat/ low pressure. I have two more payments on the car and now it seems like everything is going out on it. I guess it figures. I am going to replace the sensor, but i am wondering if anyone else has had this problem?

 

change the thermostat and flush the cooling system, add new fluid.
Possibly change the rad cap.

Changed thermostat in about 2 hours. Had to take tension pulley off. It was a pain in the a$$. But check engine light went off. I also changed coolant. Fingers are crossed that it holds.
