changing a tire
I recently had to change a rear tire on my tribute.
I was unable to lift the vehicle high enough with the jack
I placed it ahead of the rear tire on the frame
Cranked the scissors jack as far as it would go
Came up at least 2 in. short
I have now packed 3 in of blocks in with spare
Also squeezed in a full length tire iron,
since the kit includes a very short tire iron
(I can lift 200 lb., but could not budge any of the lugs)
My question. . .
. . .am I using jack correctly?
. . .and what is that little threaded bolt thing in jack kit?
