How do you remove the CD changer from the dash? I would like to get the CD out and see if the player is redeemable or will need to be replaced.

you gotta remove the two screws right above the gauge cluster and then that whole panel slides up.

and don't forget you have to unplug all the sh*t thats hooked up to the controls like the temp and cig lighter. then while the car is on, pull back on the shifter and slide the whole panel up and you're home free.

from there you're gonna have four tabs on the side of the deck, you're gonna have to find out how to push in all four of them in and then the thing should slide right out.

then from there i take it you know how to remove the top off the deck...

i can go more in depth if you'd like, i did this with my dad about 4 days ago and it took us two hours mostly because we couldn't figure out why the deck wasn't coming out until we saw it had 4 instead of 2 tabs keeping the deck secured...
