I just bought me an 05 Mazda tribute and I can't figure out how to get the spare tire off. The manual says to lower it using the hole in the rear bumper but there isn't one. I think it has a body kit. Maybe they never drilled it out? Or is there some other way to access it?

Open the rear hatch. There is a rectangle hole just below the where the hatch catch is on the body.
