automatic transmission shift
And filter. For any filter that is a direct replacement for services the transmission there are no better or worst ones on the market. They are all marginal for filtering at best. So unless you want to invest in a performance aftermarket remote spin on oil filter assembly just but the least expensive you can find.
Don't be followed by internet information claiming otherwise....! There is a reason why you don't see supplies of them claiming better filtering mainly they know 85% of owners of automatics won't pay to have their trans mission serviced and think they can go a lifetime with no oil and filter servicing. The filter in the pan have really only always been to hopefully stop large fragments of material not to be pickup up and recirculated through the transmission but not so much for fine material which is why you always find it at the bottom of the oil pan.
