Default Airbag Warning Light

I have a 2006 Tribute, 5-speed 2.3L, with 240,000miles. I recently hit a deer pretty hard but the air bags did not deploy, only busted the radiator, replaced it and got it running again. But I'm still getting an airbag warning light, flashing three times, pause, three times. Does anyone happen to have a translation for this airbag code 33 for a 2006 Tribute? Thank you!!

Hooking up a scan tool will give you more info.

GrimReaper - I had googled but hadn't found info on my exact car. Are all Mazda airbag light codes the same across models and years?

I have an OBD2 reader but hooking it up to the ECU shows no fault codes. Is there a separate place to plug it in and get codes specific to the airbag system?

Thanks so much for your help!

My airbag light comes on every time the seat gets moved too much, as a result, the wires under the seat also get moved. I give it a little wiggle and press it together to make sure it's not loose, and it goes away.
To be safe though, it's recommended you unplug the battery and wait a while before unplugging the connectors or messing with it because 1 wrong short and it can deploy the bags.

That will not happen with the seat connector! And if you are having a connection problem with your SRS system it will affect the complete operation if it were ever really need to activate.
