Default 2005 Mazda tribute stalling at stops... help

Hi guys, I have 2005 Mazda tribute 3.0 liter v6 all wheel drive... after a good 10 minutes of driving when I would come to a stop the car would idle rough and stall out on me, it would start back up just fine but then again stall at the next stop, I had the idle air control motor replaced, torque converter replaced due to a known tsb, coils and spark plugs replaced, no vacuum leaks and still no resolution to the stalling issue at stops, the shops I had have these repairs done don't know the cause of the issue, especially when there are no check engine light codes..... Has anyone have this same issue???? If so, what was done to resolve it

Welcome to the forum
Just because you have no check engine light...........
Get your ECU scanned to start with. Based on what you said about the event there "will" be a DTC(S) as well your I/M monitors should have 1 or more in not ready state.
At times, if the problem is pending because it comes and goes the ECU may not generate a check engine light. But that cause will be in a permanent file area as unresolved.

Whomever is replacing parts without verifying that they are at fault failing or failed is not helping! DO NOT REPACE any part that has not been first verified to have been the cause of an engine issue. the only exception if that part like spark plugs is part of a set service schedule?
The TSB you mention did describe to verify a transmission problem not just to replace the torque converter as a recall or safety issue? That is why TSB should be for what they were written for MAZDA service and their qualified mechanics.

I will be taking my Mazda to the dealership for a Diagnostics, the local shop that did the work refunded some of my money for their misdiagnosis... Hopefully this issue gets resolved

Well you now have some information that you can use and ask about when you do go to the dealership.
Hopefully you will be service by a knowledgably Technician!

Good Luck!

When you start it back up, does it idle ok?

Can you slip it into neutral and keep it running at stop with a little throttle action?

LOL! Just noted the date...did you figure out the problem?

"The Mazda Dealership"...mine is full of terrible/crooked mechanics. Middle of winter, I didn't want to do the job myself, I asked them to to fully flush the cooling system they told me I needed a new radiator (Big $$$). Bologna! I did do it myself and the issue was in the heater core, as suspected. Flushed out what looked like little ***** of foam? No issues since and it's been 5 years. At 12 years old, the car had crazy low miles and the original antifreeze, so I suspect those ***** are what happens to old antifreeze.
