2001 Mazda Tribute V6 - Transmission
My Transmission is starting to slip in Reverse or not work at all once the engine warms up. Drive has been normal until recently where I've notice 1st and maybe 2nd gear slips. I've been told to replace the transmission, but I've also been told about Lucas Transmission Fix. This product is supposed to be thicker and help tighten up the seals so I don't have the gears slips. I'm not looking to have the Tribute much longer, but was wondering if anyone had any advice on using Lucas Transmission Fix or any other ideas to help until I get rid of the car within the next 6 - 12 months.
Buy some lucas trany fix drain some oil pour in the tranny fix if this helps than drain all the oil trow in a complete botle of tranny fix and top of with new oil . I love this stuff first i wont believe it but after readin a lot of positive reviews i tried it .But if it mechanical ..... sorry bud newe tranny
