After a week of that annoying sound I finally figured out it was the driver's front door. looked at a million you tube videos I knew two wires needed to be shorted together in the door. turns out that it was the black and white wire and the green and black one. I guess if I want to fix it right I will have to replace the latch, but now I can drive it without screaming shut up at the dash.
