Default RX8 GReddy Low mount w/e-manage Tuning questions...

So I'm getting ready to dyno tune my first Rotary... Yikes. 04 RX8 Greddy low mount w/e-manage. I've been on the phone w/Greddy tech & got a crash course on the e-manage interface, I've done my homework on the inner workings of the Renesis...

The one big ?? I have is Ignition Timing. All the Base Maps I got from Greddy make sense except for Ignition. Table for Leading, Table for Trailing, both identical? Is that how I should keep it? When I start making timing changes, can I space L&T timing advance slightly? At all? In my mind I feel like there has to be something to be gained by doing so? No?

Like I said, never tuned a Rotary before. I'm definitely planning on baby steps & having it strapped to the dyno for a few days with an Eagle Eye on the wide band...

Was just hoping to get a little friendly advice or maybe a hint or 2 that might save me some time & headache.

TIA
