I have driven a sandrail with a Turbo 13B fuel injected ...400 hp! It was so fast. Thinking about going out test driving this weekend, but it is pouring here in San Diego!

Well, any info about the new RX-8 would be appreciated!

 

Well I just bought a 05 RX8 and the only thing that I've found bad about them is that they burn alot of oil and it's not very easy to find parts for them.

 

I have a red w/red interior fully (I mean fully) loaded '04 RX8 and absolutely love it. People stop me all the time because they THINK they know what it is but realize quickly that it's not something they have seen before! I'm always getting told what a good looking car it is. Drove a corvette until I got this and am having a blast with the quickness and responsiveness of the car. Love those Sunday drives in the country (especially the really curvy roads). The brake system is tight! The engine runs at higher RPM's than other cars therefore you really have to stay on top of the oil usage. I love the car so much that THAT is really no problem!

 

Here's a question, How often should i put oil in, I drive it soso, but should i be expecting to put oil in ever 500 kms?

 

Most of the time you will probably not need to add oil at all between oil changes at 3000 miles (kms?) but a check every other time you refuel is a very good idea!! If it is a little low then top up with 5W-20. Keep a bottle in the back and you will never have a worry. The more aggressive you are with the throttle the more oil you will consume so keep that in mind for check and top up interval.
