Default Running in a new RX8 ??

Hi, picking up my new RX8 on Friday and dealer cant give any specifics as to running in. Can anyone help with advice. Been told not to run it at any one speed and to take it easy for first couple of hundred miles. Any advice/experiences would be most appreciated. Thanks.

Take your time for the first few hundred miles. The Renesis is just like any rotary engine, it needs to be broken in properly. I think that is the problem that Mazda is having right now. Most of the RX8 owners are new to rotaries & don't fully understand them. Also, I think that Mazda should better train their technicians on the Renesis.

Remeber to let the car warm up, before cutting it right back off. Possibly could flood the engine.
