my grandsons first RX8
My own RX8 is silver so it was a natural to get him the same color. It took me awhile surfing the net to find a company who had a silver one, most offered blue, white, yellow or red, or advertised them but were currently out of stock. I even saw a few RH drive versions. Actually these models aren't recommended for young kids, they are highly detailed but kind of fragile... I decided to get it for him a month ago when he was playing at my house with some of his cars from the Disney movie "Cars". Somehow the subject of my RX8 came up and he told me my car was "slooooow" compared to his. He is my only grandson so I kind of give in to his love of cars which reflects my own.
it's made by "AUTOart Performance" 1:18 scale, and sold by several diff. websites and model companies. It is very detailed, and he is probably too young for it since it's not really a toy, more a collectable. I paid just over $80.US for it including shipping.
