LEt Me Start by saying i love my RX 8 Is a head turner.... Now to My Question I have an 04 RX 8 And for the last two weeks everytime i come to a full stop i.e. stop Light Or stop Sing I Get this vibration on the car can it be that my mounts are going bad or should i look for something else can some one help...

 

Check the mounts first.

 

And hows the fastest way to check those mounts and what i'm looking for in the mounts

 

yes motor mounts go bad on the rx8 alot. you can tell by looking at the mounts under the car. when you look at them they have a step that comes off the mount. this 'step' should be about 1/4 to 1/2" away from the aluminum mount attached to the engine. on bad mounts they may touching or very close & those are bad. chances are they are bad. replace both if one is bad.
