at the moment I'm to young to get my license. but ever since i was little. i always wanted an Rx-8, so about how much do they go for.. and where would i look for buying one that isn't new. i was it to feel like its my car. not someone else's or the dealer's.

 

Sorry to say this Kitty, but unless you're relatively wealthy and/or have a family member familiar with these cars, the RX-8 ain't the car for you.

 

well . that is why . id ont plan on buying a new one, or getting it relivly soon, the only car that really is in r family r ford probes and a 89 thunderbird, well thanks

wow, i didnt realize my typos, well, the only cars we have in my family is ford probes (which is made by mazda for ford) and an 89 thunderbird. and a couple of other cars, but i dont want a brand new rx8 i want it to be one that isnt in great, but not in bad shape, so i can fix it up and make it mine. if u understand that, if i rebiuld it i will have a bond with the car so it feels like mine.

 

well there are car books, and other things i could look up to get the info, and if i really needed to if i had a problem with the car i could maybe ask someone on here if they ever had that problem.

 

I've seen a number of RX8's for sale, not sure of the year but i've seen them in the 20k range at multiple small car lots.

at 11k it may just be to start bidding... look at KBB.com to get blue book - the 15-20k range is about right depending on the model / year / mileage.
Beware of any mods, if the car's been beaten (like unknown dents underneath), if the frame is tweaked... standard stuff to look for on a performance car.
