Default Help !

Can anyone help me with a flashing EML light problem ?
We have a 2004 192ps with 47,000 miles on it and a good history. Recently it became reluctant to start when hot, then died causing an embarrasing lift home on a flatbed RAC breakdown truck. The problem was traced to two dead ignition coils, which lead to all 4 being replaced. Result. car starts every time, has no lack of power, but every now and then the EML light blinks 4 or 5 times, but doesn't stay on ! this is when the car is being driven normally, never hard, and does not affect the cars performance in any way. Ant ideas would be greatly appreciated..........

Thanks for your response. I seem to have got to the bottom of the problem, i replaced the battery back in January. I decided to check the terminals and battery posts to see if there was a poor contact, it was clear that there was a bad earth/connection problem. The positive terminal is copper and was very badly corroded ( verdigree ) , as was the aluminium negative. I completely stripped and cleaned both until the were shining, and re-attached them a lot tighter than previously had been the case, Result ! No flashing lights, and starts first time every time even when apparently flooded or hot ! It would appear that a poor earth can seoiusly interfere with the ECU and the cars ability to monitor itself.
