Default Emissions Test

Hello all,
I'm new to this site but i came looking for help.
I have a 2004 mazda rx8, and i have to get the emmisions check for texas, (note tht last year my car passed the smog test in california), well it failed the test and test results said
Catalyst "Not Ready"
Evap "Not Ready"
2nd Sys "Not Ready"
O2 Sens "Not Ready"

Does anyone have any idea as to how i could fix this, or the drive cycles to retest it, because a few months ago while i was overseas my car died and i had to replace the battery when i came back so im not sure if that has to do with it

I'd bet the battery is the issue, which was put in to prevent people from clearing the DTC's, pull the battery, and head in for an inspection. Usually the sensors run through a test fairly quickly, though they do need a particular engine temp, fuel level, outside temp range etc... The dealer can find this information, though they will likely say what i'm saying. I'd suggest making an appointment and in the meantime take a highway ride for 20 miles or more, so you can be up to speed & temp for a bit. If you did that already, or before the last test, you may need to go through a tank of gas to make sure any vaiables are hit to run the internal diagnostic tests.
Thankfully it's 'normal' weather out, so the car should run the tests fairly quickly.

Good luck.
