I have a 2007 RX-8 that has been a total headache. My front driver seat just broke for the second time in a year and a half. The dealership said that the seat track is broken and it is not covered under warranty. To me, this seems like part of the safety restraint system, which is covered for 5-years or 60,000 miles by default.

It's not like I lost a hubcap or anything, the seat COLLAPSED. To top it all off, the dealership asked how much I weighed last time I had it repaired. Now that it has happened again, I'm about to go nuclear.

Has anyone else had this problem? My car only has 44,000 miles on it, and it's very gently used. Appreciate it!

 

Damn, now the seats are breaking on those cars? I would get rid of that car OP, sounds like you might have acquired a lemon. Though most RX8s tend to be just that.
