20007 RX8, 233BHP Shakes
Searched for the same issue but not sure the ones posted were caused by the same thing so will explain what's specifically happening with my car.
The entire car shakes at around the 2000 rpm range (+/- 250rpm) irrespective of whether the car is stationary out of gear or in gear moving. Idle's a little erratic but then has always done that.
The shakes really only kick in once the engine has FULLY warmed up, shake is not present (or noticable) when the engine is cold or is still warming up.
Hope someone can help me before I have to take it to the dealer and they shaft me !!
Thanks and regards

probably carbon build-up. it is a good idea to clean the exhaust ports like this

it sounds crazy, i know, but it works to keep the ports clean.

Wow, really ?.......Carbon build up can cause the entire car to shake when running at low revs once it warms up ?
I'll give that a try, thanks for the pointer.......there isn't a mechanical reason for this shaking is there ? Just want to make sure something isn't going to fall out of the bottom of the cat while I'm driving along.
Will let you know how I get on with the Water flush.
One further question is, if it does turn out to be carbon build up......then is there something I can do as a matter of course (apart from regular cleans) when running the car to minimise the carbon build ?
Thanks
