Default '10 RX-8 a good buy from S2000?

Hey guys,

I'm looking at replacing my wife and I's S2000 with the '10 RX-8. Am I crazy for doing so? So far it seems like pretty good reviews on the RX-8 but am looking for some feedback from actual owners.

Thanks.

i have a 2010 rx8 that i just got a lil over 3 months ago, and i love the car. the handling and quickness is great. only things are its useless in the snow, if the roads are covered make sure you have another car to use (it is a real wheel sports car), also just keep an eye on the oil level, i recommend checking the level around every 1,000 miles. also let the car warm up if its colder out for a few minutes til the red bars on the dash go away.

it may seem like a lot of work, but its actually not, i wouldnt trade the car for anything right now.

I've had my RX8 for 6 yrs now. I love it. I spent thousands modifying my RX7's for racing and they can't compete with the RX8's handling. The early ones, like I have, had some problems. Mazda has worked the bugs out of the car now.
If your not familiar with rotaries, there are a couple of things you need to know. Some people have problems with engine flooding. It's never happened to me and I take no special measures to prevent it. Most people say it happens when the engine is shut off cold. The last thing is rotaries burn a little bit of oil. This is by design and not something to worry about. You just have to check the oil level at least every other gas fill.
